Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and a former supermodel. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her longevity in the highly intense film industry is a reflection of her talent and skills as performer. When she was a model in her early years, she began her career in the 1970s. She quickly became prominent within the world of modeling. At the beginning of 1990 she started studying acting and theatre. In the following years, in Los Angeles and California she made her first stage appearances. She has admitted that she's not particularly interested in acting. After a lengthy break, she self-imposed on herself to act in 2005. After a long absence, she returned to the screen in Thor. Rose Namajunas ranks among the top UFC female fighters. She began in the amateur ranks, participating in different regional promotions. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her up and she later became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Namajunas has racked up a lot of recognition since joining the UFC thanks to her outside and inside the octagon success. However, she's always come out the winner. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15, 2015, for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza via a technical knockout within less than three minutes of Round One. Rose not only took home the title but she was also named Fighter Of The Night. Rose was also able to make MMA historical with her fight as she became the first woman to compete in a title fight within any major organization. Namajunas had a number of wins following the fight, and she received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
